Attorney, Adrian L. DiLuzio, of counsel to the firm, practices exclusively in the area of criminal defense.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Mr. DiLuzio worked as a prosecutor for nine years in the District Attorney’s Offices of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Nassau County, New York. He has engaged in defense work for the past thirty-one years, defending many serious and prominent cases including the largest embezzlement case in Nassau County history (People v. Juan Carlos Molina), the largest art fraud in United States history (United States v. Kathryn Amiel), and the most highly publicized case in New York history (People v. Joel Steinberg).

Adrian L. DiLuzio’s legal career began with his work for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office for six years. While prosecuting misdemeanors, homicides, and other major felonies during his stay there, he also served as the Assistant Bureau Chief of the Municipal Court Bureau, the Assistant Bureau Chief of the Felony-Jury Bureau, and supervised and edited the writing of briefs in the Appeals Bureau. In addition, he served on the Executive Committee of the Criminal Justice section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Upon leaving Philadelphia, he relocated to Nassau County, New York, District Attorney’s Office where, in addition to continuing the prosecution of felonies, he went on to become the Deputy Chief of the Official Corruption Bureau. He also served as Chairman of the Criminal Justice Section of the Nassau County Bar Association. Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office Mr. DiLuzio has engaged exclusively in the defense of criminal cases, including a number of prominent cases well-known to local and national communities. It is Mr. DiLuzio’s extensive criminal litigation background that has led so many prominent clients to seek his counsel.

Adrian L. DiLuzio, an AV-rated attorney by Martin-Dale Hubbell, is admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York, and in the Federal Courts of the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Western District of New York, Northern District of New York, Central District of Illinois and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
