In this case, our client was walking through a parking lot headed to work when she was struck by a motor vehicle, injuring her right foot. We fought hard for our client and obtained a very substantial and just recovery on her behalf, despite the defense maintaining that our client’s injuries were not worth even one third of the one-million-dollar policy. Defense counsel’s medical expert tried to mitigate the seriousness of our client’s toe fracture. However, during litigation and after contentious settlement negotiations, we obtained the full policy limits for our client; to wit, one million dollars ($1,000,000.00). Notably, and as usual, we resolved this matter for our client without the customary delays associated with litigation, having obtained a full policy settlement in less than nineteen (19) months since the action was commenced.

SETTLEMENT – $750,000.00 – NASSAU COUNTY, NEW YORK
SETTLEMENT – Nassau County, New York: Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00).
In this case, our client, a pedestrian, was clearing snow from his driveway/street in front of his
home when
he was struck by his neighbor’s motor vehicle. As a result, our client sustained
injuries to his neck, shoulder and knee. We fought hard for our client and obtained a very
substantial and just recovery on his behalf, despite the defense maintaining that our client’s
injuries were not worth the amount we had demanded, arguing that many of our client’s injuries
existed prior to the accident and those that did not could never be assessed to equal our demand.
During litigation and after contentious settlement negotiations and mediation, we obtained a
substantial recovery for our client.
